Sister Love

Natalie just can't get enough of her baby sister! Which is almost always a good thing...not so good on days when she is sick, which she is today (don't worry, this pic is from a couple days ago!). Natalie woke up with a scratchy throat, runny nose, and cough this morning. I explained to her that we had to keep the germs away from Julia, so she wouldn't be able to hug and kiss her today. That news made her cry. All she wants to do is love her sister! Fortunately, Natalie is mostly unbothered by her symptoms. But not unbothered enough to mention that some juice would reeeeeeally help her feel better ;)

Workin' at the Car Wash

Brad and Natalie washed the cars on Sunday afternoon. This was Natalie's first at-home car washing experience, and it did not disappoint!

Better Late Than Never...

I was just looking through some older pictures on the camera and computer and realized I never posted many pictures from when Julia was first born. So here there are, six weeks later!

Last picture of me pregnant. Probably around 4:00am, hooked up to the monitors waiting for my turn in the OR. Good thing I wasn't in excruciating pain!
My awesome OB that I love, and she just so happened to be on-call the night my water broke. I was so excited that she was the one to deliver Julia!

Someone in the nursery made her a bow hat and a girly name tag for her bassinet. So cute!

Pearly Whites

Natalie had her first dentist appointment today! She did a great job. Here's the run-down from her perspective.

"First the boy dentist put his fingers in my mouth and said my teeth were healthy and pretty. Then the girl helper dentist used Mr. Tickly. He tickled my teeth with the toothpaste and made my teeth sparkly and princessy. Then Mr. Thirsty got all the toothpaste and water out of my mouth. And I got to spit in the white cup. Then I got to pick a new toothbrush (I choosed blue) and I got some toothpaste and stickers. Toothbrush and toothpaste don't rhyme. But they have the same word in them. Tooth!"

Dressed to Impress

Julia has been living in onesies since she was born. All of her "real" clothes were still too big and I really did not want to buy baby clothes just for her to outgrow them in about 5 minutes (turns out maybe she wouldn't have after all!). I went through her closet this morning and managed to find one dress that fits her. She did not enjoy the trial-and-error process of trying on clothes to see if they fit, but she'll just have to learn that that's the price you pay for beauty ;) She looks so cute!
