We needed to fill up the tank of our rental car before returning it at the airport, so Brad pulled into a gas station, popped the gas tank door, and before he could even get out of the car, there was a strange, English-impaired man unscrewing the gas cap. Brad went back and forth with him for a minute or so, trying to convince him that, really, we could pump our own gas. Finally the man muttered coherently enough for us to semi-understand that we weren't allowed to pump our own gas. So he did his job, and then we drove off wondering if we were supposed to tip him. I'm sure the other people at the gas station were looking at us like we were crazy for wanting to pump gas. Oh well!

Those are very interesting facts about NJ! Who knew the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island were in NJ? And I love the average high of 84 in the summer. You'll love that - not sure about the winter high though.
