Cream King

There is a treasure in Pennington that I wish you could all visit! Cream King. It's one of those little roadside shacks that serves burgers, hot dogs, fries, and other things that later show up on your waistline. That stuff is good, but the real draw is the ice cream and other frozen treats. Yum! We first discovered Cream King when we came here last August to find a place to live. We have been patiently waiting for it to open for the 2010 season, and this weekend was the weekend! We had lunch and ice cream there this afternoon and it was wonderful. They serve a brand of local ice cream called Welsh Farms, and I have to say...it rivals Blue Bell. Yes, it is that good. Brad had Peanut Butter Ripple and I had Cookies and Cream. Mmm...thinking about it makes me need another scoop :)
