Today was a slower paced day. We started out the day by hitting the Trenton Farmers Market, but left empty-handed. We got there right when it opened and not everyone had opened up their booths yet. I think next time we should wait a little later in the day. So we went back to Terhune and got some fresh fruits and veggies from their farm store. Here's what we came away with: corn on the cob, broccoli, yellow squash, patty pan squash, cucumber and peaches. I tossed the squash and broccoli with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and roasted them in the oven. Also slathered the corn with butter, salt and pepper and roasted those too. Sliced the cucumber and peaches and it was a perfect dinner! We may go back tomorrow to get some more veggies and have the meal again.

The cherries we picked a couple days ago were perfectly ripened and ready to eat...YUM!

In the afternoon we went to
Rita's, a place with really yummy Italian ice and custard. Then we headed back home for some time outside in the pool! Natalie had a blast and we had to practically drag her back in to the house when it was time to get ready for bed.

And, we couldn't forget to say Happy Father's Day to our favorite dads! We love you Daddy, Pop and Papa! Wish we could have seen you today!

I saw your Dad at church today. He said he barely got beaten out for the oldest Dad in the early service! Ha! It looks like y'all are having a great time. I can't wait to see what else you will do this week!!!
